
A letter to Francis Maude concerning the Major Project Authority and HS2
May 10, 2012As you may be aware that following a study into HS2 the Major Project Authority has classified the HS2 scheme as amber/red which means “ the successful delivery of the project is in doubt, with major risks or issues apparent in a number of key areas. Urgent action is needed to ensure these are addressed, and whether resolution is feasible”.
I have now written to Francis Maude, the Minister with responsibility for the MPA, to ask him to provide further details on the report and to place a copy in the library of the House of Commons. I have enclosed a copy of my letter below.
