
Letter to Philip Hammond regarding the ‘North-South Divide’
April 18, 2011On 15 April I wrote to Philip Hammond on behalf of a constituent, about the best way to bridge the ‘north-south divide’. Specifically, the letter asks whether the optimum way to achieve this might be by investing in improved public transport within Britain’s major cities, as opposed to building a high speed rail network between them.
